How will my student know they have a Bid Day Gift being delivered?
Please let your student know that a Bid Day Gift from Katherine Beck will be delivered to her new sorority house. Due to the high volume of gifts Katherine Beck delivers throughout the night of Bid Day, we are unable to notify each Bid Day Gift recipient.
When will the Bid Day Gift be delivered?
Pre-Ordered Bid Day Gift deliveries to the sorority houses will begin AFTER the girls open their bids and run home and University Police have re-opened the roads, allowing delivery vehicles to enter campus. Deliveries will continue all night long until the house moms lock us out! We try our best to hand deliver every gift on the day of Bid Day by delivering all night long, but ask that you plan for your girl's Bid Day Gift be delivered on Sunday morning.
What if my credit card expires before Bid Day?
If your credit card changes or expire after you place your order, call us with the new information as soon as possible to ensure delivery is not delayed. If your credit card is not valid, your gift will not be delivered.
When will I be charged for my Bid Day Gift Pre-Order?
Your Bid Day Gift will NOT be charged until the day of Bid Day, 8/22!
What if my student cannot find her gift?
Due to the large volume of gifts delivered to the sorority houses on Bid Day, girls sometimes have a hard time locating their gift! She may have to search through several gifts before finding her own. We require each sorority house to sign for all gifts delivered from Katherine Beck. If your student is having a hard time locating her gift, each sorority's New Member Director and House Mom are always there to help! Please double check with your student before calling us, as we are busy ensuring all Bid Day Gifts are delivered as soon as possible. Once the gift has been delivered to the sorority house, Katherine Beck is unable to re-enter the sorority house to help your student locate her gift!
What if my student needs to exchange a Bid Day Gift item?
If she receives an item that she would like to exchange, she is more than welcome to do so during our EXCHANGE PERIOD (September 7 - September 21, 2026). Greek items can ONLY be exchanged for other Greek items! Store credits will be valid through the end of the fall semester and will expire on December 12, 2026. Store Credit Cards are treated like cash, and if lost, we will be unable to honor it. Our exchange policy will be located on each Rush Happy and Bid Day Gift that she receives, either on her name card and/or labeled on the back of the gift.
What if my student does not receive or accept a bid?
If your student chooses to not accept her bid, you MUST call us IMMEDIATELY! Because her name will appear on a sorority's bid list, her gift will be wrapped and delivered to the sorority house unless you notify us! If your student does not receive a bid, her name will not appear on a sorority's bid list and a gift will not be wrapped and delivered for her. If you would like to choose to send a Non-Greek gift in place of a Bid Day Gift, just give us a call!
